Business Continuity Planning Workshop – Littleton

This workshop focuses on helping small business owners and managers understand and prepare for events that can disrupt their business. As we’ve seen in our local past and in disasters in other communities, businesses are impacted by many different types of natural and man-made disasters.

The best defense is to be prepared and have a plan for what to do and how to do it if and when disaster strikes. This workshop combines the experience and knowledge from SCORE, Arapahoe County Emergency Management and the Small Business Administration to help small business owners prepare in the event of a business disruption.

Participants will learn:

• The definition of continuity planning
• Key elements and topics to be considered in business continuity planning.
• Fundamentals of Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP)
• Resources available to small businesses in a disaster
• Disaster related SBA programs available to small businesses
• Hosted at City of Littleton Building.
