The City of Littleton has more than 59 parks on over 1,400 acres land and registered open space with more than 200 miles of trails, much of which borders the South Platte River that runs from the very north part of Littleton to southern tip of town.
Recreation is bountiful in and around Littleton with the South Platte River running through town and trails galore. Biking and running, two of Colorado’s biggest sports, are year-round. Paddle boarding, rafting and tubing fills the river all summer. 14ers are not far for the brave at heart. And some of the best skiing in the world sits right behind our Front Range. there is no excuse not to be outside enjoying Littleton, Colorado 365 days a year!
