Women in Leadership Meeting – Meet our Speaker Rachel King, City of Littleton Director of Economic Development.
Rachel King comes to Littleton from the City and County of Broomfield, where she served as the Deputy Director of Economic Vitality, leading business development, economic development, and housing initiatives.
Prior to that, King was with the City and County of Denver in multiple roles, most recently as the Director of Administration and Federal Compliance for Denver Economic Development and Opportunity and the Department of Housing Stability. She has also held roles in the financial sector, academia, and as a legal policy consultant for nonprofits.
King has a doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, with a focus on land use law. She is a member of the bar association in Florida and Colorado and holds a certification in mediation from the State of Florida. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster. She is also a wife and working mom to young children.
